Duties include:

  • Sales Ledger
  • Invoicing customers, maintaining customer records, creating new accounts


  • Credit Control

  • Dealing with all aspects of credit control ensuring payments are received on time


  • Purchase Ledger

  • Matching, coding, and posting of Supplier invoices, maintaining customer records and creating new supplier accounts.
  • Setting up suppliers on the system and processing payments
  • Cash flow working with senior management to ensure the smooth running of the business


  • Banking

  • Allocating customer payments


  • Expenses

  • Dealing with all company expenses, payments and reconciling on our accounts package
  • Month end tasks which include reconciling debtors/creditors, posting journals, calculation of customer rebates
  • Reconciling bank accounts
Due to the structure of the department we would consider full time and part time applicants. Experience and ability with Excel is essential, preferably you will have knowledge of Sage accounts and payroll.


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
£10.50-£12.00 per hour
