Spinwell is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor C&I for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR C&I
- Monitor implementation of plans and procedures for the discipline to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules, safety procedures and legislation.
- Identify resource requirements to prepare for/carry out maintenance operations.
- Implement appropriate solutions for maintenance problems.
- Ensure that planned maintenance activities and defect rectification are carried out efficiently and to schedule, specifically for PMS maintenance activities.
- Undertake the professional management and execution of contract and project works including observation of work to identify industry standards are being applied.
- Liaise with engineer in support of the preparation of technical specifications.
- Liaise with stakeholders to provide authoritative advice on matters relating to client maintenance with discipline.
- Review work area/task on completion and report the conveyance of any relevant information to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensure staff effectively utilise diagnostic techniques to identify faults in plants, systems and components.
- Identify and resolve equipment performance and obsolescence issues.
- Support the implementation of the safety, welfare, security and environmental protection arrangements for all maintenance workshops and compounds.
- Assess the effectiveness of maintenance procedures and provide required amendments and changes.
- Ensure fit for purpose job reports are produced in accordance with LC2
- Liaise with suppliers/manufacturers on technical issues.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR C&I
- Knowledge and understanding of the Site security infrastructure, including network and hardware
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Able to work crossdiscipline, with the support of the respective engineering support
- Instrument apprenticeship plus HNC in engineering or equivalent qualification plus experience
