Due to a number of new tender wins we are looking to take on an additional Foreman

You will have main contractor construction experience and good man management and site co-ordination engagement with sub-contractors


Key duties:

  • Support the projects & Site Manager(s) in all aspects of construction operations
  • Promote and encourage good working relationships with Project Managers, Site Managers & Sub-Contractors
  • Assist PM/SM with day to day organisation and project delivery targets
  • Ensure contractors have the information required on time
  • Identify and obtain relevant information in order to plan and execute the works
  • Monitor, maintain and update all Health & Safety requirements and procedures
  • Undertake quality inspections
  • Implement and adhere to appropriate environmental controls
  • Ensure effective communication to all parties
  • Establish and maintain site set up and welfare facilities
  • Manage contractors to ensure projects are delivered snag free
  • Manage and efficiently close out defects
  • Communicate on subcontractor performance to all relevant parties
  • Actively engage all on site coordination and logistics
  • Implement and maintain delivery coordination and sequencing with subcontractors
  • Ensure method statements are being adhered to on site
  • Actively promote and effectively coach H&S procedures
  • Keep day to day records of progress and resources on site
