We are currently looking for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership for the service.

This post is based in North West London, which is easily accessible via public transport.


About the role:

As a Senior Cardiac Physiologist, you will be
***working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service whilst seamlessly incorporating other centre services.


Your main responsibilities as a

Senior Cardiac Physiologist:


  • Responsible for safe use of complex cardiology testing equipment to ensure patient and personal safety.
  • Implement quality controls and assurance in accordance with agreed standards.
  • Clean the cardiology equipment in accordance the hospital infection control policy on the cleaning of biohazards.
  • Perform the full compliment of cardiology investigations without medical supervision and maintain awareness when a result requires further immediate follow up and act accordingly.

What we are looking for in a
***
Senior Cardiac Physiologist:
  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
  • ALS (desirable) or ILS
  • RCCP registration
  • BSE or equivalent.
  • Experience as independent practitioner in cardiology investigations
