Ledwood are looking to recruit a
Procurement Assistant to join our Head Office in
Pembroke Dock, Pembrokeshire.

Key Responsibilities include:


  • To convert order requisitions into Purchase Orders, and input details on procurement/accounts system.
  • To assist the business in ensuring that all procedures are adhered to and all receipting of goods received notes are done correctly and in a timely fashion.
  • Entering goods received notes on to procurement/accounting system, filing of delivery notes.
  • Provide close support to the procurement team in all steps of the procurement process
  • Maintain purchasing databases and folders
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding the delivery of purchase orders and expediting where necessary.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers and vendors.
  • Support the Accounts Team with supplier invoicing queries, processing of invoices.
  • Booking out/issuing of stock, stock reports, and procurement of stock items.
  • General Administration duties as and when required
  • Any other tasks as instructed.

  • Behaves in an honest, fair and ethical manner.
  • Strong organisational and time management
  • Experience within a projectbased environment is desired
  • Previous experience working within Oil, Gas, Renewable Energy (Engineering/ Construction) Industry is desired.
  • Experience in a procurement or supply chain related role is desired
  • Knowledge of direct and indirect products associated with steel/pipework fabrication/construction is desired.
Internal training will be given on the Supply Chain Software.


More Information:


  • Salary will be dependent on experience
  • Hours per week: 38 hours
  • Full Time Position working in our Main Office in Pembroke Dock, Pembrokeshire
  • 25 Days Annual Leave plus Paid Public Holidays (Pro Rata in first year)
  • Onsite Parking
  • No relocation fees.
