Permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £19,650 to £20,043 per annum (Grade D) | Norwich


We are seeking to recruit a self-motivated, proficient and enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support to the busy Family Support Team within Children's Services.

You will be required to work closely as part of the Operational Support Team and with the Operational Team. Effective operational support is a vital element to the success of Children's Services. This post ensures a focused, consistent operational support service to managers, staff and clients.

You should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Excellent ICT skills, including Excel, Word and ability learn in-house database systems.
  • Excellent telephone manner essential.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to deal with people at all levels.
  • Experience of financial processes and procedures.
  • Ability to organise meetings, take and produce minutes (this is a substantial part of the role)
  • Work well within a team environment.
  • Awareness of data protection and information management.
You will be part of a well-established, supportive team and full training will be provided.
