Reel Service Limited is the largest semiconductor, electro-mechanical and mechanical component finishing service and materials provider in Europe providing complete component solutions for device manufacturers, distributors, contract assembly providers and end users.

We have been providing quality component packaging & finishing solutions for 36 years.

An opportunity has arisen in our Accounts Department for an
experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at Southfield Industrial Estate in Glenrothes.

The hours of work are negotiable whether part of full time, however during the training period full time hours would be required.

Applicants should have previous experience working as an Accounts Administrator in a professional finance office and have proven experience in the following areas:

Sales Ledger

Debtor's receipts
Credit control
Invoice batches
Daily online banking (foreign currency)
Sales ledger reconciliations (produce monthly statistical analysis/reports/graphs)
Fixed asset reconciliation/depreciation
VAT returns
Journal entries

Management Accounts

Stock reconciliation/journal processing
Debtors/Creditors reconciliation
Intercompany transactions
Prepayments/Accruals
Foreign currency revaluations
Balance Sheet/Audit Schedules

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, methodical, enjoy reconciliation work and will ensure adequate controls are in place for accurate and timely reporting.

Communication skills and prioritisation of workload are essential qualities. Proven IT Skills are essential, in particular the use of Excel. A qualification in an accountancy based discipline is expected.
