Teacher of Graphic Design & Technology required in Surrey

Are you passionate about Graphic Design & Technology and determined to make a real difference? We are looking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to support with raising standards of pupil attainment and achievement within the curriculumarea in line with national school policies/priorities.

This will include engaging with whole faculty initiatives regarding the quality of learning, teaching and assessment.

In addition, it will mean monitoring pupil progress and coordinating effective intervention to improve pupil outcomes for pupils for whomyou are accountable.


This modern Secondary school is in surrey, on the border of Sutton, SW London and has excellent transport links Via Bus and Rail.

They also have a large carpark and an on-site gym which are free to use for all long-term staff.

The post would equally suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher who has obtained a good degree in Design and Technology or a related discipline.

The ability or willingness to also teach Food and Nutrition to level 3 BTEC is desirable although not essential.


The Design and Technology Department offers an exciting KS3 curriculum and is a popular choice at GCSE, with results consistently well above the national average.

Many students go on to study DT A Level where again results are well above the national averagewith good progression to degree level courses.

The department has also had much success in national competitions.
