Description

Are you a technically minded qualified accountant with experience managing a small ledger/payroll team? Comfortable with cash flow forecasting, budgets & year end audits? Then read on.

I'm currently working with an Engineering Contractor based in Immingham to recruit a Financial Controller on a full time permanent basis.

The business turns over around £40m spread across multiple smaller entities and are currently going through a period ofgrowth so are looking for a number 2 to take control of the day to day finance team reporting into the Director of Finance.

Your main duties will include:

Ensuring that the Company meets tax, permit and licencing requirements.
Collaborating with the executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of the Company's ledger.
Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures.
Providing executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategising.
Summarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to executives.
Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support.
Taking care of tax preparation duties or consulting with external tax accountants for tax preparation.
Oversee all Company accounts and investments.
Create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
Supervise and manage the Finance Team, including Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, Payroll and Accounts.

Hybrid working model available starting off at 4/1 but moving to 3/2 as time goes on you'll be given autonomy to implement ideas as the business grows.

The current finance team is long standing and close knit, so will need mínimal guidance and direction.
