Senior Procurement Officer to join our busy Procurement Team.


We are looking for talented individuals with experience of public sector procurement to take the lead on a range of activities across the University.

As part of our close-knit Procurement Team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your professional knowledge and experience.


Stakeholder management is a key part of the role applicants must have excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills.


Applicants are expected to have:

  • Experience in a Public Sector Procurement environment including a good understanding of the Public Contracts Regulations.
  • Managed tenders and developed Strategy documentation.
  • A professional attitude and an ability to communicate positively with a variety of personalities and job roles at all levels.
  • Commitment to fairness, inclusivity and the promotion of equality and diversity.
An Agile (Flexible) working policy is in place and will be discussed on appointment. You will have 30 days annual leave, plus eight bank holidays.

A minimum of three extra paid concessionary days are also normally provided each year, for extended University closure around some UK public holidays.
