About the role:

As a Data Scientist, you will understand how to gain specific insight from data to address a business problem.

Turning data into information is the key part of a Data Scientist's role, and within this company you will be working with Data Engineers and SolutionArchitects to successfully identify the necessary input data and embed a specific technique into a production platform.


  • Understand data manipulation, aggregation and Management Information (MI)
  • Knowledge of coding languages e.g. Python, R.
  • Uncover hidden patterns in data and use consulting skills to present results to clients, telling stories with the data both verbally and visually
  • Understand data analytic concepts e.g. Machine Learning
  • Planning, identifying risks and regular reports to the project manager
  • Good understanding of Open Source software (particularly Big Data) and can evaluate these platforms against COTS products


This role entails joining the Capabilities team, where you will be creating and managing the solutions that earn our place in the ever-changing digital world.

This is a key role in defending top clients against the cyber threats that are constantly faced.
