Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and loyal individual person to spend quality time with our nursing residents.

You must be able to adapt to each person and discover activities or interests that relate to our residents, their past and/or current hobbies.

Activities may be in small groups or on a one to one basis.

Some of our residents enjoy being read to, shown photographs, paint, craft or play board games.

Others are able to access the beautiful gardens at our home or you may have a wander to the local park for ice cream when the weather permits.

Special notice should be given to local and global events, recently we have celebrated the coronation, along with the life of Her Majesty The Queen.

You would be expected to work with what events that may be going on in the world around us.

Special attention is paid to birthdays, Christmas, and we also would like our activities co-ordinator to book in external activities such as entertainment, therapies within budget in co-ordination with management.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary:
£10.60 per hour
