Please note that this vacancy is for Advancing Quality Alliance (Aqua) and will be based at Crossgate House in Sale and not for Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust


Due to maternity leave cover within Aqua we are looking for an Improvement Advisor with experience in quality improvement, personalised care and safety improvement programmes.

The post holder will support the delivery of a core suite of programmes using their experience, insight and understanding to help others learn and deliver improvements via a range of Aqua programmes.


You will join an enthusiastic, highly skilled and successful team and will be supported to further develop your experience and skills across quality, safety and personalised care.

You will contribute to team development and positively influence improvement opportunities across all stakeholders and partnerships.

Aqua blends operational delivery in both virtual and increasingly back within face to face settings. This post supports a balance of working from home and spending agreed time together in the office.

All Aqua posts require extensive travel nationally which often includes overnight stays, working on site and at events with our clients and partners.

Important further information -
This post requires extensive travel regionally-often on a weekly basis to client locations and regular travel nationally (which may include overnight stays) across the UK on a monthly basis. A UK driving licence is required for anyone who will be driving for this role.


Currently and in accordance with national guidance this post provides the opportunity to work from home and work from the office when required, Aqua currently blends operational delivery in both virtual and face to face formats.

Person specification:


Qualifications:


Essential criteria:


  • Diploma qualification in health or social care delivery or evidenced experience of working in health or social care
  • Quality improvement qualification or experience
  • Person centred care qualification or experience

Experience:


Essential criteria:


  • Working on improvement projects from start to finish
  • Presenting to missed range of stakeholders
  • Able to identify and implement PCC outcomes
  • Able to work with patients and families to improve services
  • Able to deliver training and presentations to mixed groups of stakeholders

Knowledge:


Essential criteria:


  • QI theory, methods and tools
  • Personalised care models and methods (SDM, SMS)

Skills:


Essential criteria:


  • Able to communicate across all stakeholder involved in QI
  • Able to present information and materials to mixed and multiple groups of stakeholders
  • Able to manage difficult situations and conflict
  • Able to travel extensively across NW weekly basis
  • Able to travel nationally and stay overnight on monthly basis
