About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our newly established Design & Innovation team based in Coventry.

Working closely with our Geely colleagues and reporting into the Digital Design Chief this role will be responsible for:

Using Alias/icem or other 3D software to produce CAS and A-surface data for the modelling development process.

Accurately understand the designer's sketch/rendering intent and quickly convert 2D concepts to 3D digital models.

Help designers to rationalize the design intent space and develop 3D solutions.

Submit professional quality 3D output according to the project nodes as well as check and improve data quality.

Prepare digital presentation and review the modelling.

Experience to succeed
More than 5 years of digital design work experience in Automotive design, completed multiple vehicle interior or exterior projects.

Proficiency in Alias (ICEM, Blender, Vred).

Extensive experience in pre-CAS design, good styling sense and aesthetic sense.

Understanding the general styling concerns and constraints in automotive styling development projects.

Experience with Class-A projects and understanding of the corresponding data quality requirements.

Good data management habits, document preservation and filing in an orderly manner.

Proactive, clear logic thinker, and good communication skills.

Industrial design and related majors are preferred.
