The Supply Room is currently looking for a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to work with secondary aged students at a South Bristol school.

This role requires someone with exceptional behaviour management skills and a deep understanding of pastoral development
- knowing that academic achievement aren't the only measures of success.

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will face the challenge of supporting students who may struggle with attendance, behaviour, and academic performance due to their social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Your role will involve providing individualised academic support, implementing tailored strategies, and promoting positive behaviour and attendance.

Responsibilities include:

Using creative and engaging teaching techniques to help students improve their understanding and confidence in their learning
Developing and implementing tailored strategies to support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
Monitoring and tracking student progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing feedback to help students achieve their academic and personal goals
Collaborating with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to create a holistic support system for each student
Promoting positive behaviour and attendance by establishing strong rapport with students and motivating them to engage with their education

The Supply Room is an educational recruitment agency, working directly with a school in South Bristol. The position is full-time, temporary
- until July 2024, recommencing in September 2024. Term Time Only, Monday to Friday. This role has an immediate start.
