We are a group of companies working in the legal, accident management and healthcare sectors currently looking for Case Handler to join us.

As a Case Handler, you will be working for UKIM (UK Independent Medical)


What do UKIM do?


UKIM provides high quality, independent medico-legal reports to the legal professional and insurance industry which are used to assist in personal injury cases and some clinical negligence.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Case management, ensuring each case is progressed in line with department processes.
  • Liaising with customers, clients and suppliers regarding a range of queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Dealing with internal and external queries.
  • Ensuring first time resolution by displaying a thorough knowledge of all processes and understanding the needs of the customer.
  • Achieving individual and team targets including call quality measures, efficiency and attendance.
  • Collate and order any records or supporting statements
  • Retrieve any missing documents required to process a case
  • Liaise with the Nurse Assessors where required
  • To prepare the documents for scanning & inputting
  • To priorities cases based on deadlines

Experience:


  • Having some Clinical understanding would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Strong Customer Service experience from either officebased or customer facing.
  • Experience working on a telephone and computer based systems
  • Attention to detail, been able to concentrate and focus priorities
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30

£21,942.00 per annum
