East Kent Colleges Group are seeking an Estates Assistant to join the Group at EKC Canterbury College.
As an Estates Assistant you will play an active key role in the Estates team, providing caretaking services across the college.
The position covers a wide range of services normally associated with Estates functions.
In the role you will be responsible for carrying out unlock and lock duties of buildings, setting of intruder alarms before and after operational opening hours including weekends and will be a responsible key holder.

About You:
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious member to our team.
You will be able to work on your own or as part of a team, flexible in your approach to tasks and shift patterns and have effective organisation skills and ability to work under pressure
Experience in carrying out testing, monitoring and maintaining of Legionellosis records is an advantage but not essential. You will also have experience and sound knowledge of emergency light testing and record keeping.
If you have experience of working in this field along with a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise with the future generation this position will be ideal for you.
You will need to live within 20 minutes of reaching the campus.
