Can you keep our constabulary running effectively and deliver high quality support services that enable our frontline officers to protect the public?

The Finance and Business Services Team are looking to recruit one full time, permanent Evidential Property Assistant based at Wyatt's Way, Ripley. This role may require you to be flexible to work from other locations within the county when required.

We're involved in a wide range of activities, ensuring that the department meets its objectives and service standards.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deal with officers, staff and members of the public face to face or via the phone regarding seized and forensic exhibit matters.
  • Use computer systems to interrogate, record and audit seized and forensic exhibits.
  • To adhere to, implement and enforce policy and procedure appropriate to exhibit management and Operational Business Support

The must haves

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment with a requirement to meet challenging deadlines
  • Experience of interacting directly with internal and external departments as well as members of the public.

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
