Newstaff Recruitment Agency in Luton is currently looking for Retail Assistants on behalf of our client based in Luton.


Retail Assistants in Luton:


Pay:
£11.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay


Job Type:
Full-time, Shift-based


Location:
Luton Airport


Shift Schedule:

Two Earlies: 4 am - 1 pm
Two Lates: 1 pm - 10 pm

  • Two Days Off

Responsibilities:


  • Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the retail area.
  • Restock shelves and merchandise displays as needed.
  • Handle transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver a positive shopping experience.
  • Adapt quickly to a fastpaced and busy environment.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing demands.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
