The opportunity
This is an opportunity to join on of our successful regional offices Xebra Accounting, based in Fareham.
As a firm they offer real time support to their clients, working with them to ensure their bookkeeping is kept up to date, with meaningful financialdata available.
A team of bookkeepers and accountants ensure this is delivered monthly.
This role would suit someone wanting to return to work with experience, who is able to meet with clients face to face.
Your role will involve regular conversations with clients so that they understand their numbers, and providing the higher level support they seek to run, improve and grow their business.
The position would suit someone who is currently studying for ACA or ACCA, or has recently qualified, with 3 years experience in practice.
Day to day responsibilities
- Produce statutory accounts, management accounts, regulatory returns, and tax computations
- Use of Xero and addons such as Dext
- Actively contribute to the implementation of strong working processes, and providing day to day training support to the team
- Be involved in management meetings and reporting directly to the Managing Director on a regular basis
Skills and experience required
- (ACA or ACCA) part/fully qualified
- 3+ years previous accountancy practice experience preferred
- Superb communications skills, particularly in meetings and on the telephone
- Experience in Xero cloud accounting technology
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, and passionate
- Dynamic, team orientated, and confident
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Strong organisational and communications skills (role does involve client contact)
