Excellent opportunity to join a very well established Freight Forwarder in Colnbrook working in a busy Logistics department handling time sensitive aerospace shipments.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering a high level of customer service, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
Answering the phone in a professional and timely manner
To take job orders from clients, that include routing, classifying of service type and establishing a deadline.
To assist in providing clients with continuous notification and followup
Provide details of special services offered and ensure customers are given all options available.
Help develop and maintain relationships with clients.
Ensuring communication with service partners is kept up to date.
Sending prealerts to overseas offices, service partners and customers.
Demonstrate a "can do" attitude and show that you are prepared to go the extra mile for the customer
Provide quotes to customers.
Monitor all shipments as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

You must have:

Minimum of 2 years industry related experience (International Freight Forwarding/Logistics)
Excellent knowledge of international and domestic airline routings, geography and timezones
Understanding of the Aviation industry and delivering Time Critical shipments

Working Hours:
Tues - Fri 10am - 7pm & Sat 7am - 4pm
