Description

We are looking for an organised and positive individual to join our team of 6 to assist with the management and maintenance of the HR and EQMS.


Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Maintaining contact with new starters, managing start dates etc
  • Assist with new starter onboarding, and induction (references, letters, training etc)
  • Assist the HR & Compliance Team Manager and Director of People with compiling information for reporting purposes
  • Assist with the building maintenance/ facilities folder to ensure legal compliance and liaise with PPM contractors
  • General administration duties, to assist where necessary
  • Monitor compliance inbox
  • Ensuring all documentation is up to date, scanning and filing where necessary
  • Assist in the coordination of the company training and Induction Programs and the maintenance of employee training records as required
  • Ensuring equipment for all staff is appropriate, in good condition monitor stock
  • Equipment calibration, equipment asset management
  • Assist with the maintenance and development of our quality and environmental management systems
  • ISO9001/ISO1400
  • Assist with internal/external audits & audit programmes

Skill Requirements:


  • Strong administration skills
  • Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office
  • A high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and customerfacing skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The flexibility and willingness to learn
  • To enjoy working with people
  • Tact, diplomacy and confidentiality as this role handles sensitive information
  • Good administrative skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team, but also autonomously
  • The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail

Competencies

  • CIPD Level 3 desirable but not essential
  • Understanding ISO9001/ISO14001 desirable but not essential
  • Internal auditing experience desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of general compliance practices
  • Understanding legal & regulatory obligations within fire industry
  • Understanding of employment law
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety
