Client Relations Manager
Location:
Newport with 50/50 split, office/field based
Working days:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, variable from time to time to meet business needs.
Salary:
£33k per annum
Benefits:
- Company Car or own car expensed
- Bonus package based on business retention and new business introductions around £7k per annum
- After 5years you will get 5% of the business shares at no additional cost
- Holidays 20 days per annum plus bank holidays rising by a further 1 day per annum per year of service up to a maximum of 25 days
Person specification:
The person should possess good IT skills, be a analytical thinker with a focus on the customer, the staff and the team.
The person will be a motivator, leader and possess the ability to monitor staff, quality standards and manage the team to perform withinagreed time frames and budgets.
A good communicator who is efficient and thorough with a focus on achieving results set by the business.Role responsibilities:
- To ensure effective management of all of cleaning contracts allocated to you, ensure excellent service delivery, management of people and ensure a good relationship is built with all your clients
- Key accounts to be visited on a weekly basis, smaller accounts, as and when required
- To manage the budgets on all aspects of the contracts under your control so that the contracts achieve the budget set. Ensuring stock deliveries to all sites on a monthly basis
- Be responsible for recruitment and staffing for all your contracts, ensuing that all contracts are staffed to agreed hours on all your sites
- Dealing with all people issues effectively and efficiently. Ensure all staff have the appropriate paperwork, documents signed and kept up to date
- To ensure all aspects of health and safety are adhered to on all sites, staff are briefed accordingly and are working inline with health and safety legislation
- Ensure all contracts under your control receive regular audits and records are kept and any action needed from the audit are dealt with swiftly and effectively
- Responsibility for developing more business with existing clients or new clients wherever possible particularly upselling oneoff work for additional tasks
- Manage all account files, ensuring all information is kept up to date and all computer records are managed effectively
- Manage any supervisors under your control, ensuring that their duties are carried out effectively and efficiently
- Ensure confidentiality work closely with the Directors of the business to ensure that the best practices are adopted to ensure the best welfare for the business and its people
- Effectively manage any vehicles under your control, ensuring that the drivers operate effectively, the vehicles do not get abused and monitor the tracking of all vehicles
- To ensure the safe use of all our equipment, ensuring operators receive the proper training and equipment is used safely and effectively with maintenance being carried out regularly
- Ensure PAT testing on equipment is carried out annually
- Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to and followed and installed in the company mythology
Required experience:
- Business to Business account management experience this can be from cleaning industry or other B2B environments such as Recruitment, Office Furniture/Stationary, Business Mobiles/IT
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a leader and motivator of people
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding set KPIs and/or SLAs
