The Company

  • Business Modelling Associates UK LTD (BMA) is a leading business analytics and solutions development company operating both in the UK and other international territories. We provide a technology platform that helps clients systemically and holistically model endtoend physical and financial operations within an Advanced Digital Business Twin (ADBT) of the clients business. This platform enables organisations and business communities to analyse whatif scenarios and explore how potential changes affect service, costs, investor returns, sustainability and risk. BMA assists companies to compete and succeed by developing tools to visualise, analyse and optimise their key decisions.
  • BMA's core focus is the development and provisioning of its ADBT Platform, implementing client solutions developed on the ADBT Platform and using decision support and optimisation technologies to realise real business benefits.
  • We are looking for individuals to join the company as senior consultants and consultants specialising in the utilisation of various tools and technologies available to BMA for deployment of solutions for our clients.

Role and requirements

  • You will be part of a progressive company that has a wideranging customer base across numerous industry verticals in the water & energy utility sectors and the manufacturing and retail sectors, amongst others.
  • The role will be hands on in dealing with client personnel and executive teams and their business challenges, gathering and validating data in support of the envisaged solution design and using available technologies to configure and validate solution behaviour.
  • A background in data sciences or other quantitative degree or post graduate degree, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, production or chemical engineering or in statistical, business and other applied sciences is a requirement.
  • Analysis of findings, identification of savings, operational benefits and opportunities, business risk analysis and the like.
  • Previous experience in implementing complex technology solutions and fulfilling key project roles will be advantageous.
  • Understanding the importance of meeting project deadlines and timeframes is fundamental to the role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both as an individual and as part of a broader project team.
  • Experience in the use of MS SQL Server, together with experience in Python, R, Microsoft Power BI, Linear programming and other optimisation techniques and technologies will be beneficial.
  • 2 to 5 years working experience with operational industry / business experience.
  • You will be required to learn the core technologies used by BMA and become familiar with the BMA proprietary solution delivery ADBT Platform.

Responsibilities

  • To understand and document client requirements and project deliverables, validate and translate the requirements into the BMA solutions.
  • To assist client in the use of the configured solution.
  • To identify, quantify and drive the realisation of business benefits within the client.
  • To attend and conduct workshop sessions with various business stakeholders throughout projects. The purpose of workshops will be to determine business requirements for end use cases to be deployed using the technology components described above.
  • Testing and validating systems and data inputs throughout the project.
  • Directing clients for the prompt delivery of key solution and project requirements such as data, business rules and constraints.
  • Providing feedback from infield project experience and learnings to further develop and enhance the Company solution offerings.
