The Industrial Work Solutions UK are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading clients in the Stoke on Trent area.
A new opportunity for the successful applicant to lead the team in support of the Operations Manager.In leading the team, the role ensures best in class assessment and management of vehicle down time in line customer and business KPIs by liaising effectively with supply change partners, CRMs and customers.
Controlling maintenance spend is a key output of the role as is protecting fleet compliance at all times.
As the Maintenance Control & Downtime Supervisor you will be able to make a tangible contribution to the customer experience journey through your best-in-class leadership & management activities.
- Through the leadership of the relevant direct reports, you will take responsibility for the operational effectiveness of your team
- As a People Manager you should ensure all governance policies are adhered to by direct reports and that performance standards are maintained in line with the strategy
- As a Coach you need to ensure that the development needs of your team are met in line with the L&D strategy along with contributing to an improvement in any Employee Survey results below target scores
- The Maintenance Control & Downtime Supervisor should support the Operations Manager in all relevant activities that contributes to the successful delivery of the Operational Plan
- Provide feedback on team performance.
- Identify and manage vehicle downtime due to vehicles being off the road for all types of SMR events.
- Challenge network providers in a way that minimises the downtime of assets.
- Take a leading role in managing activity that reduces the TCO of all fleet assets on behalf of the business and our customers .
- Take a leading role in supporting the Operations Manager in recharge activities .
- Provide agreed VOR updates in line with business and customer KPIs / SLAs.
- Take the lead for your team in owning all CI activity .
- Take part in the relevant Operations Transformation Plan activity .
- When required provide hands on support to the team in call handling, defect, and breakdown activity .
- Provide any duties as deemed necessary by the Operations Manager .
- Act as the Delegated Authority in the absence of the Operations Manager .
- Effectively manage time to ensure workload remains up to date .
- Excellent customer communication and administration at all times .
- Maximise every single revenue opportunity
- Courteous, helpful, and professional interpersonal and telephone manner with customers, colleagues, and network partners
- Take absolute pride in everything you do to deliver excellence and customer intimacy
- Use competent and sound commercial acumen and initiative on all occasions, organising workload and resources

£35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
