Full Job Description:

Rapid Retail is Europe's Leading Modular Retail Specialists. Market leading creators and providers of bespoke premier modular retail units and custom-made portable shops.

We have a wealth of established and high-profile customers across UK and Europe.

We are currently looking to recruit 2 permanent skilled Modular Retail Unit Fitters to assist in the preparation and refurbishment of temporary kiosks, units, and modular buildings prior to them being deployed to customers.

There will be a requirement to work off-site in the UK & Europe as and when the workload dictates.

The role:

Our modular retail cabin fitters are multi-skilled and carry out a variety of tasks every day whilst refurbishing the fleet of portable shops and units in steel and GRP for hire or purchase.

The role will include the following work to be carried out on a wide range of buildings:

Maintenance of existing assets in UK & Europe
Refurbishment Rapid Retail or Customers modular unit, cabins, or kiosks in UK & Europe
Manufacture Kiosks, Cabins or Modular Buildings.

Key accountabilities:

The work will be carried out at Rapid Retail or our storage facility at Throckmorton Airfield.

There is also a requirement to work away from home within different stadia or venues in the UK & Europe.

Fitting and removal of partitions, floors, and ceilings.
Interior and exterior preparation and painting.
Install UPVC doors, fit door locks and lay vinyl floor covering.
Cut window / door panels from a blank panel and repair or install roller shutters.
Ability to carry out basic plumbing.
Other general maintenance, repair, assembly, and fitting work as required.

Essential Skills and Experience:

MUST have experience in modular sector
Selfmotivated requirement to work on your own and as part of a team.
A flexible approach to working hours and being able to work away from home as and when required.
Ability to problem solve and think on your feet making decisions which have a benefit on quality and efficiency.
