We're recruiting customer serviced focused individuals to join our Household Customer Claims team on a permanent, part-time basis.

You'll be an essential member of a busy and vibrant team who provide advice to our members by phone on all their insurance policy claims.

As a Household Customer Claims Handler, you'll be managing new and existing claims, making decisions on the members policy cover as well as paying claims.

After your initial training period of 5 weeks, you'll work at least 40% of your week at our Morecambe office.


Working Hours & Shift Pattern:

We're happy to discuss your part time requirements with you, however, please note that our 5 week induction is full time, 37.5 hours per week from our Morecambe office.


Induction & Training:


Induction Date: 4th September 2023


When you join us, you'll enroll in our 5 weeks onsite induction provided by our specialist trainers to ensure you are set up for success in your new role.


Our Claims department have a structured development framework with salary increases once you achieve certain points in your development journey.


What you'll be doing:


  • Answering calls to deliver an excellent service to our members.
  • Working collaboratively as a team to achieve objectives.
  • Accurately inputting customer information into our systems.
  • It would be good to add more here to fully explain the responsibilities.
  • Managing new and existing claims.
  • Making decisions on the members policy cover.
  • Paying claims.

About you:


What we're looking for:


  • You'll be a great, listener, confident communicating over the phone.
  • Resilient with a Customer First approach.
  • Team player.
  • Confidence in speaking to a variety of customers.
  • Receptive to regular coaching and feedback given by your managers, accountable for your own selfdevelopment.
  • Highly adaptable to change and managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a customer facing role either in person or on the telephone.
  • Natural talent for connecting with people, quick problemsolving ability and positive, can do attitude.


As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
