Interim Statutory Reporting Accountant - 12 months


Reporting into the Statutory Reporting Manager and it is expected that this position will be required for around 12 months with a view to extend further, within this highly recognisable national media business.


This role is with a household name as they look to bolster their finance function, and are looking for a pro-active individual, willing to role their sleeves up and help out on an ad-hoc basis across the finance function.


Requirements:


  • A qualified (or nearing qualification) accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CA etc), who has a wealth of experience in group finance and with recent IFRS exposure,
  • Working understanding of UKGAAP/USGAAP,
  • Has prepared complex accounting standards and ensured operating effectiveness of internal controls,
  • Experienced in contracting and able to start within 2 weeks.
