  • Working closely with the team to understand business requirements, understanding how this translates in to the technical solution and providing guidance and estimates on the testing required
  • Performing automation, functional and nonfunctional tests as part of software development lifecycles including Agile or Waterfall (sequential and incremental)
  • Identifying and communicating potential defects, such as where a change has diverged from the expected result
  • Working within a closeknit team to maintain high standards of testing and continue to improve outcomes
  • Making use of your experience of test automation

You will be successful in this role if you have:

The main skills that we require for this role would be experience of testing within an Application Support environment, ideally with experience of the full software development lifecycle and how this applies to the testing of software.

You will likely hold testing certifications such as ISTQB.

Strong interpersonal skills are expected as you will be communicating regularly with our client. Any previous experience within Public Sector organisations would be welcomed.
