Role Information:


We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our team as a Project Management Assistant, supporting with the delivery of multiple projects from inception through to completion.


This role is Fixed Term for 12 months to cover maternity leave.


Passionate and self-motivated you will have excellent communication & organisation skills, and demonstrate the drive to work proactively supporting the Project Manager and wider IT department with a variety of project coordination and administration activities.


The role will entail assisting with the preparation of project plans, helping to identify key milestones and priorities, & liaising with key stakeholders to determine clear project requirements.


You will monitor day-to-day activities to ensure project delivery & regularly communicate with key stakeholders and the Project Manager on project progress.


Building & maintaining excellent relationships with the project team & stakeholders will be key to your role, and so strong collaboration skills are crucial with the ability to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.


Experience of working within an IT / project environment or IT / project management qualifications are preferred but not essential.


This is a new role, and you will join a recently formed IT Service Management team (ITSM) consisting of Senior Product Owners and Product Owners.

ITSM is an integral part of the wider IT department which also includes Business Intelligence, Business Systems and Infrastructure Teams along with a dedicated Service Desk.


Ultimately you will be working amongst over 40 people within the wider department & with lots of exciting projects on the horizon there will be plenty to get your teeth into.
