Join us as Business Manager to the Chief People & Transformation Officer

What you'll do

In this role, you'll be supporting the Chief P&T Officer and the P&T senior leadership team to plan ahead and deliver our business and people strategy and transformation in line with our long-term goals.

You'll be right at the heart of P&T, overseeing and implementingbank-wide, divisional and business activities, and engagement agendas such as communication and engagement, leadership teams' operating rhythm, as well as the management and oversight of Executive and Board papers and reporting.

Working closely with the Chief P&T Officer, you'll make sure an effective operating rhythm is in place to deliver on the P&T goals and strategic priorities.

You'll be building strong relationships with the CEO office and other business leaders to drive andimplement, plan and manage business support activities, projects and processes aligned to bank-wide priorities, policy and business frameworks.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing dedicated support to the Chief P&T Officer, in partnership with other teams, to drive maximum impact in all internal and external engagements
  • Successfully managing and delivering discreet strategic projects impacting pan P&T
  • People planning, including capability, engagement and communications
  • Reviewing relevant MI and providing analysis and interpretation of data or information
  • Line management of a small team to deliver with high quality and pace

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with excellent experience and a track record of building effective relationships and working in a leadership support, business management role or similar.

You'll additionally need broad knowledge of our bank-wide strategy and how P&Tinteracts with the rest of our business, as well as an appreciation and understanding of corporate governance.

It'll be ideal if you have HR knowledge and experience, but it's not essential.

We'll also look to you to demonstrate:

  • A track record of delivering high quality at pace, with strong attention to detail
