Description

We are currently looking for reliable night drivers to join our team. This position is for HGV 2 drivers with a minimum of 1 year experience. Shift times are typically 22:00 starts.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a class 2 vehicle to transport car parts to designated locations
Load and unload packages and products from the van
Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in good condition
Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
