Learning Support Assistant - Camberwell

Are you a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant? Are you in search of a loving, exceptional school and wish to contribute to their mission? We are now recruiting for an outstanding school in Camberwell as they are looking for a passionate Learning Support Assistant to inspire and support students with special needs.

About the role:

To foster a nurturing environment that encourages the students' growth
To offer personalised teaching and learning in an autism specific environment
To enable creative ways of communicating concepts to children
A devoted Learning Support Assistant to support the class teacher and assist students in 1:1 and in small groups

About the school:

A thriving, welcoming and independent specialist school located in Camberwell
Supports children on the autism spectrum between 2 to 19 years of age
Offers a unique mix of education and support to pupils within a wide spectrum of needs and abilities
Dedicated and friendly team of staff

Requirements:

Available to work 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
Previous experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs
Available immediately to work as a Learning Support Assistant
Able to carry out personal care as part of the role
