We keep the city centre relevant and enticing for residents and visitors, we provide a vibrant market all year round, opening seven days a week.

Further to this we assist with the delivery of city centre events, speciality markets and activities.

Under the brand Visit York, Make It York's aim is to promote the city and its surrounds as a must-see world-class destination to the leisure visitor and ensure investment to develop the quality of tourism in York.

Make It York are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and hard-working new member of staff to join their Sales and Marketing Team on a full-time basis.

You will have previous experience of supporting the development and execution of web content strategies. You will have good interpersonal skills, a positive 'can do' attitude and be a strong team player.

Main Duties will include:

Web content management
Implementation of web content strategy
Management of digital advertising
Website maintenance and security
Covering Events
Brand guardianship
Visual content acquisition

This is a full-time role working predominantly Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend working requirements. The office is based in the centre of York and hybrid working is available.

Make It York offers a competitive salary £26,000 - £28,000 dependent upon experience, 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, excellent training opportunities, a salary sacrifice pension scheme and a private health care scheme.
