Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a West Yorkshire based Financial Services business who are looking to recruit a Head of Financial Controls and Statutory Reporting.

Responsibilities will include:

Develop and implement a strategy, plan and associated policies/procedures to deliver a Financial Controls function that optimizes efficiency of processes and accuracy of related financial statements
Provide strategic direction to the senior management team on financial control matters to ensure proper supervision of associated current and future risks
Ensure the preparation and presentation of clear, concise and accurate financial reporting for senior management and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial and statutory standards
Partner with the management teams to understand the impact of successive investments on credit metrics and results under IFRS
Lead the external relationship with the NAO to represent the businesses position and progress
Engage a high performing function and team to deliver the strategic and mandate in line with build out of the portfolio and securing value for money
Identify and manage external relationships with financial consultants, when utilized to ensure delivery of business objectives.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a qualified (ACA/ACCA) Financial Controller/Head of Finance with extensive technical experience including IFRS9.
