CPCS Slinger Signaller A40


Location:
Somerset


Salary:
£ 25.00 per hour basic +


MCG Construction is currently recruiting for
CPCS Slinger Signaller A40 to join a prestigious project on a full-time basis in
Somerset.


As a Slinger, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently directing the movement of materials and equipment on the job site.


Responsibilities:


  • Inspect and prepare lifting equipment before use
  • Direct the movement of materials and equipment using hand signals, radios or other communication devices
  • Ensure that loads are properly secured and balanced before lifting
  • Observe and comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Keep accurate records of all lifting operations
  • Liaise with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient completion of the project

Requirements:

-
Valid CPCS (A40) Slinger card:

  • Proven experience as a Slinger on construction sites
  • Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and rigging techniques
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures +
    health & safety operatives test:
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Good time keeping
