About Our Client:


Our client based in the Birmingham area is an operational support practice and consultancy for the logistics and supply chain industry, with extensive client and supply side experience across a number of sectors.

The role of Logistics Coordinator in Birmingham will involve:

  • Overseeing the smooth operation of the Logistics function.
  • Using the inhouse system to monitor processes.
  • Customer service.
  • Reporting and forecasting.
  • General administration work.
  • Support on changes and future development.
  • Progressing and tracking daily enquiries on all matters from operations and support staff.
  • Regular communications and updates internally and externally.
  • Support on Data analysis as required.
  • Liaise with relevant functions.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Experience in transport and/or warehouse planning.
  • The ability to liaise with different stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Experience handling data.
  • A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.

Preferable:

  • Logistics forecasting experience.
  • Demand planning knowledge.
