About Our Client:
Our client based in the Birmingham area is an operational support practice and consultancy for the logistics and supply chain industry, with extensive client and supply side experience across a number of sectors.
- Overseeing the smooth operation of the Logistics function.
- Using the inhouse system to monitor processes.
- Customer service.
- Reporting and forecasting.
- General administration work.
- Support on changes and future development.
- Progressing and tracking daily enquiries on all matters from operations and support staff.
- Regular communications and updates internally and externally.
- Support on Data analysis as required.
- Liaise with relevant functions.
The Successful Applicant:
- Experience in transport and/or warehouse planning.
- The ability to liaise with different stakeholders (internal and external).
- Strong administration skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Experience handling data.
- A background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
Preferable:
- Logistics forecasting experience.
- Demand planning knowledge.
