Description
We have a great opportunity based at our Northamptonshire campus for a flexible hourly-paid Learning Support Assistant to become part of our Additional Support department.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a role in the success of our students through:- Providing overall care of the learner and enable him/her to access the college facilities and develop independence within the wider community.
- Being an active member of the Foundation/ main college team and to assist in the development of individual programmes and the assessment of student progress.
- Providing learner support to a group of learners or on a one to one basis within all aspects of the college curriculum
- Providing the support needs required by the ALS Team Leader, Lecturer and learner
- Level 2 Learner Support Certificate or equivalent or/ willing to work towards
- Educated to Level 2 in Maths and English

What is an Associate?
Associates work on a short term basis as assigned. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff.
As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you.
Typically an agreement runs from January to December and may be renewed thereafter.About Us
