We are currently looking for Learning Support Assistants to contribute to the inclusive and supportive learning environment of a specialised school.

Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to students with diverse learning needs.

Collaborating with a team of educators and professionals, you will contribute to creating an environment that nurtures the unique abilities and potential of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

Offer oneonone and group support to students with diverse learning needs.
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and specialised support strategies.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment to support student's social and academic growth.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to address specific student needs.
Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the wider support team.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant is advantageous.
Relevant qualifications in special education or related fields are preferred.
Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the wellbeing and development of students with diverse learning needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to various learning styles and individual requirements.

To be considered for this role, we require:

Proof of Right to Work (Passport or Birth Certificate).
A CV covering 10 years of education or employment.
A fully enhanced DBS certificate or a willingness to process one with us (cost refunded).
