HSE Officer (Health & Safety Officer)

Permanent

Fulltime (40 hours) Monday to Friday

Yorkshire based. (West or South Yorkshire ideally)

£30-£35k Basic

Car Allowance £4,800 per Annum plus fuel card

33 Days Holiday, Bank Holidays)

Route 1 has an excellent opportunity for an experience processed-driven Health and Safety Officer to join their client's team due to business growth and expansion.

Successful applicants will hold are working towards NEBOSH and have experience in a similar production/manufacturing Health and Safety Role.

Reporting to the
HSE Manager the purpose of this position in brief:

  • Cover 4 Production site locations, monitoring all processing operations, continuously looking for any areas that can be improved,
  • Review and monitor the management system and all associated procedures, SOP's, SSOW, Risk Assessments and legislation.
  • Conducting audits for compliance and legislation.
  • Liaise with the Site Managers to improve all aspects of
    HSE and Environmental systems and processes.
  • Produce reports, attend and minute
    HSE monthly meetings, log actions, and monitor completions.
  • Train employees, inductions and drug tests, Toolbox talks
