Events Executive - Lisburn Area
Our client is a multi-platform publishing company that produces a range of content products from digital publications and newsletters, magazines and websites to live and online events.
They have a multi-talented team in offices in Dublin and in Co Antrim that produce a range of innovative products using the latest digital technologies.
Events Executive:
The role will involve working across the events and publications business and duties will include:
- Planning of all events including managing operations on-the-day;
- Speaker liaison including organising travel and accommodation;
- Exhibition sales and bookings for events;
- Managing relationships with event sponsors and other commercial partners;
- Identifying and securing speakers for conferences;
- Researching relevant and high quality conference content and production of conference websites and brochures;
- Designing and executing marketing campaigns for events and publications including all digital marketing;
- Maintaining/researching and updating company databases and contact lists;
- Supporting editorial staff in researching, factchecking and proofreading content for publications.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills;
- Be well organised with a professional and engaging manner;
- Ability to work accurately and reliably under pressure and to tight deadlines;
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative and multitask.
Salary negotiable.
Hybrid working will be 4 days office, 1 day WFH and dependant on business needs.
Driving licence and access to own transport is essential for this role.
Events/conference attendance will be required, which will include overnight stays along with early morning starts and late evenings.
