Settle could have the exciting opportunity you've been looking for, we're recruiting a Senior Finance Officer to join us.
As a senior finance officer, you will be part of the Transactional processing team and will be collectively responsible for carrying out the day to day functions of the team, including accounts payable and receivable administration.
Main duties will include supervising Finance Officers (currently 7), managing and ensuring the overall workload is achieved, organising the weekly rota to ensure adequate cover in all areas as well as the administration of customer and supplier accounts, dealing with suppliers, customers and tenants queries, and the management of expenses.
You will also closely support the Finance Operations Manager with the financial aspects of their role as well as projects.
Job requirements:
- Take ownership of the weekly AP and income meetings
- Provide additional support to team members as and when required
- Ensure sales and purchase invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Ensure income receipts are posted to the relevant tenant's rent accounts in line with KPIs standards;
- Allocate nontenants receipts/payments
- Ensure all required adjustments are processed on suppliers, tenants rent or customers' accounts in line with internal policies and procedures. To include tenant's insurance and tenant's recharges
- Be the first point of escalation to resolve queries from suppliers, internal and external customers on financial matters.
What we're looking for:
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft packages to include excel, word, outlook.
- Good understanding of QLH/QLF system or similar finance systems.
- Understand basic accounting principles
- Prioritise workload and work to deadlines
- Find ways to improve efficiencies and effectiveness
- Take ownership of a process and work unsupervised
