If so then my client needs you for a part-time temporary role for their thriving business centre & creative hub in the heart of Bexley, with more than 50 modern studios, extensive co-working zone and high-tech meeting rooms for start-ups, entrepreneurs andgrowing businesses.


TEMPORARY FINANCE MANAGER

2 DAYS PER WEEK

£180 per day




LOCATION:
Bexley, Kent


Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor budgets, taking remedial action and making recommendations to line manager
  • Carry out all financial accounting transactions
  • Authorise payment runs
  • Produce quarterly management accounts
  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Submit quarterly VAT returns
  • Process monthly payroll and submit relevant returns to HMRC
  • Submit monthly pension assessment
  • Produce annual budgets, business plans and forecasts
  • Contribute financial performance data for quarterly board reports
  • Propose and issue annual rent review
  • Debt management
  • Approve and sign new license agreements

Personal specification

  • A strong grasp of accountancy practises associated with management of office environment and general financial management
  • Experience of using accounting/payroll software
  • Successfully managing budgets
  • Excellent communicator
  • Confidence to make decisions independently

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience of payroll and bookkeeping required
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT Level 4 qualified or partqualified required
  • 5 x GCSEs at A-C level, including English, Maths required
  • 3 x AS or A2 level qualifications at A-C grade or equivalent desirable
  • Relevant degree desirable
  • Experience of using ICT packages to input and manipulate data and produce reports including Word, Outlook, Excel required
