Description

We are looking for a new member of the Black Barn Family to join our growing local retreat.

Currently we going through a stage of development with a new general manager and refurbished work area to support the expected growth going into 2024 for our family run business.

About the Role

As a general assistant your tasks will vary but will initially be based around food preparation whether that be cooking breakfasts for our guests, preparing the days food for guests and preparing for future visitors.

Alongside the food element we are looking for someone to assist in greeting customers, attending to their requests and helping maintain/clean the various areas around the spa.

You will be required to follow all food hygiene regulations and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and tidy whilst you are on shift.

We will provide training and guidance throughout to ensure you are brought up to speed and maintain a high standard.

Hospitality or catering experience would be great but we can always train the essentials if you're a willing independent learner.

We are looking for someone flexible, reliable and self motivated to achieve the highest standards.

Detail is everything to us therefore it's important that as a person you understand the importance of small detail but the necessity of speed and adaptability.

We'll provide guidance through direction but also as an individual you'd be proactive to anticipate future tasks and work within the direction to use self initiative.

Important Note This role is a self employed role to begin, we are currently going through a phase of people development which may lead to permanent employment but all team members are currently on a self employment method.

Own mode of transport is required due to being located in a rural area but we have on-site parking.
