  • The Onboarding product team oversees the customer's initial interactions with our product, from the moment they start our registration process, through various verification processes, and lead them to have a verified account in which they can deposit and wager. 888 WH is working in highly regulated markets and as part of your job, you will be in charge to set the simplest onboarding flow, meeting all regulatory needs to allow our customers to wager safely.
  • In this role you will take full ownership of the product development lifecycle, from being the voice of the customer to the goto person for both internal and external stakeholders alike while also working with your peer product managers.
  • You will translate customer needs, commercial value, and business goals into professionally written documentation. You will work alongside Design and Technology to ensure the product meets the high standard of customer experience that we aim for.
  • A team player, you will be part of a fantastic agile development team, providing information and decisions to the team whilst maintaining an actionable and prioritised product backlog, of stories, defects, and other work items. As well as taking part and facilitating customer research, requirement sessions, scoping, design planning and customer testing.

Responsibilities of this Role:


  • You'll define, manage, and lead your product from ideation through to delivery whilst aligned with the overall product roadmap and work with Customer Research, Design and Data to analyse the customer requirements and align them with strategic goals of the business. You'll take initiatives, problem statements or feature requests and break them down into actionable pieces of work that bring the most value and are aligned with the strategy.

In addition, you'll

  • Manage, prioritise, and set the product backlog to guide and support the development team. You will oversee all stages of development, continuously keeping those around you on track and aligned to the product vision.
  • Be a team player within the development team to provide support, answer questions and guide them on the overall product vision. This includes but is not limited to facilitating and encouraging the team during scrumbased ceremonies too.
  • Act as the primary liaison and link between all stakeholders, teams, and departments. Though the whole product life cycle, you will ensure clarity of the latest update on the product, removal of blockers and keep track of business deliverable commitments.
  • Work closely within the Product function both within a specific area and overall to ensure product alignment across the company.
  • Take opportunities to learn, grow and understand what the latest is from our competitors (inside and out of the industry), the current market trends and latest customer experiences are.

What we'd like to see from you:

  • We'd love you to have some experience as a Product Owner in an agile working team with a technological sense and the ability to translate product requirements into technical aspects.
  • You'll have effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, great interpersonal skills such as active listening and collaboration when working with other teams or departments on a common goal.
  • You'll also have a high standard of written, visual, and verbal communication skills, to be able to communicate clearly through all means.
  • You'll be highly organised in terms of planning and prioritisation of workload and effective time management skills and you'll have a great attention to detail with a curious nature, embracing ambiguity and having the confidence to ask "Why?"
  • In addition, it would be great if you, were:
  • A creative thinker with the ability to identify an issue, be clear in what the problem is and be able to break it down to simplify it for others with a deep understanding or experience working within an Agile framework.
