To undertake appropriate health assessments prior to Immunisation, in line with national guidance, Immunisation policy and the best evidence based practice.
To deliver the immunisations ensuring safe and best practice is maintained in line with trust policy and the national recommendations within a variety of settings.
As directed by the Service Manager / Team Lead and as required, respond to outbreak situations which require immunisations to be delivered as part of the incident management of the NHSE / UKHSA.
To maintain and develop skills and knowledge to deliver a range of interventions and set an example of good practice to other team members including skill sharing.
Motivate individuals, communities and other professionals and agencies to recognise the importance of immunisations and the protection they provide to individuals and communities currently and in the future.
