As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential support to students with diverse learning needs.
Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant will include:
Assisting students with SEND in their day-to-day learning activities, providing personalized support as required.
Working closely with teachers to implement individualized education plans tailored to meet each student's unique requirements
Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
Supporting students with SEND during classroom activities, ensuring their full participation and engagement.
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers to facilitate ongoing educational planning.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within a SEND environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish positive relationships with students and colleagues.
A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with diverse needs.
Relevant qualifications in education or SEND support are highly desirable.
