A fantastic new opportunity working as a full-time Interim Assistant Finance Manager based in Swinton. The temporary role has an excellent hourly rate on offer from £ £17.00. This role has hybrid working available.

Our client is a Not-for-Profit trust who provide great education to change the lives of young people. The trust provides education to students, giving them the skills and experiences they need to succeed.


Description

The key responsibilities of an Interim Assistant Finance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Input of standing information to the Trust's Finance system
  • Processing of Purchase Order from requisition
  • Ensure Purchase Orders are checked for accuracy and forwarded to suppliers
  • Processing of invoices, checking to Purchase Order and goods received notes, ensuring appropriate authorisation and ready for payment.
  • Assisting with the creditor payment runs
  • Investigating and resolving supplier invoice
  • Ensure delivered orders are distributed to the relevant departments in a timely manner
  • Raising of Sales Invoices from appropriate documentation, printing and checking for accuracy before distributing to debtors
  • Responsible for the reconciliation and coding
  • Preparation, processing, and safekeeping of all income
  • Maintaining a detailed record of noninvoiced income
  • Assist with month end procedures
  • Accurate recording of all Transactions
  • Maintain an accurate filing system suitable for audit purposes

Profile

  • Background working in finance, within the Public Sector and Government or Not for Profit and Charities
  • AAT and/or similar desirable
  • Good communication and numeric skills
  • Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships
  • Subject to an enhanced DBS Check
  • Ability to work under pressure and a determination to succeed
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills and attend training when needed
  • Follow the safeguarding and trusts policies and procedures
