Description

Working alongside the midwives to provide care to neonates needing enhanced midwifery care to prevent term admissions to the neonatal unit.

Performing appropriate observations and escalating accordingly.

Supporting new parents with feeding and baby cares.

Observations as per guidelines.

Escalation to appropriate people in a timely manor.

Generating and following plans of care.

Feeding support and monitoring appropriate input.

Blood tests and capillary samples.
