Most of Arrow's work is privately owned homes, new builds, some commercial, and work to be carried out under Eco 4 (funded work is not our priority).

We are looking for a surveyor to visit the properties of potential clients to survey the building for suitability and to quote for insulation related work.

Whilst this is not strictly a sales role, being able to politely and clearly talk to the clients about the the products, advantages and about the company will be necessary.

The role would suit someone with experience in the construction related industry as some knowledge of homes is required. Knowledge of retrofit or insulation would be even better but training will be provided.

A good understanding of the principles of Building Physics as relating to the fabric of existing buildings and the potential consequences of retrofit energy efficiency measures is a key element to the role.

The main focus will be on cavity wall insulation, but also loft insulation, spray foams and cavity extractions. This may grow to cover other energy efficient measures.

This role requires driving to various different regions each day for surveys. These may include the SO/PO/RG/GU/KT postcodes and maybe even RH/BN.

With this in mind you will need to be happy driving each day and spending much of the day by yourself and meeting clients.

You can start and finish your routes from home with the occasional office days.

With this in mind you will need to be a self starter, happy to work by yourself and be self managing.

This is customer facing so being presentable, trustworthy and knowledge confidence are important.

This role may suit someone who has worked within insulation and looking for a new role or from the wider construction sector.

If you have PAS2035 retrofit Assessment that would be ideal or DEA qualified

Training provided.

Responsibilities:

Survey, measure and estimate quotes
Ensure all surveys are carried out in a clear and fair fashion.
Be willing to carry out 48 appointments per day in the allocated region.
Liaising with installation teams and clients as necessary
Liaising with colleagues to resolve issues and identify system/process improvements.

Training:

Training on our products and how to survey and use our software and systems will be provided
DEA and PAS2035 retrofit assessor qualifications maybe offered to the right person looking to further their career in this role.

Job Type:

Fulltime, Permanent
Salary: £30,000£45,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Early starts often are required to get to the region to be surveyed)
